My 92' RRC has the standard U-Haul 4-pin plug wired into the right rear light assembly. Everything is hooked up according to the owners manual but I have no trailer turn signals. When I hit the turn signal the green dash "trailer light" blinks one time but the turn signals do work! The contacts have been cleaned and pressure was applied to the joining clips to assure a good connection. The trailer brake lights are working fine. When the same trailer is hooked up to another truck, all is well. Any suggestions? What am I missing concerning the turn signals? Thanks, Tim |

The RRC has the brake and turn lights on separate circuits. The trailer uses the same bulb/wire for both brake and turn signals. You need a conversion kit for everything to work properly. Take a look in the tech section under 'trailer wiring Disco II.' The wire colours are probably wrong, but the rest is correct. |

Was the trailer wiring pre-installed? or newly installed? If its been there, you may need a new box. I installed 2 of the new 'plug and play' units from Atlantic British recently, and they are great! 30 second hookup from under the truck!

I needed a conversion kit, which I ordered. It was the first time I had trailered with my RR, OMG how anemic! Thanks for the help. |
