Will a TJM T15 or T17 bumper fit on a 2003 model DII? I found a good discount online for them with low shipping. I'm not going to be able to install it until Christmas, but I want a bumper that will work with a D2. I read on disco2.com that ARB is making a specific 2003 model bumper. I didn't think there would be a difference. I want something with low profile for approach angles and good fit that can accept a winch. I think the ARB bumper is just to accept the built in bumper fog lights on 2003 models, but I dont even have these b/c I have an S model. I just want to be certain any D2 bumper I pick will work for a 2003 model. I'm still looking for the bumper that will be perfect for me...changing my mind each day.

Yeah I saw a pic of the 2003 ARB and I do not prefer that one due to the front approach angles. I'm more of the go high and mount skid plates type of guy :-)

The ARB Bar won't be in the states until Mid December at the earliest from what I was told by several vendors.
However,

The T15 looks good on the 03. I am getting one put on my 03 soon. The also have better mounts for Hella 4000's than ARB bars which usually require you to drill forward to accomodate the large light.

Pictures of it on an 03.

Is a lift/suspension upgrade needed to hande the extra weight of the bumper on an '03? I was considering a TJM but was going to wait till I was ready to do a suspension lift.

The 03 will handle the TJM T15's weight, no lift needed. I have a TJM on my 03 HSE.

Ok I see where the winch mounts for the T15 on a DI...but on a DII you need an additional mount. This I assume is underneath, but how much lower does it make the bumper if indeed it does?

Thanks Rupert, that is the info I was looking for. Did you buy it online, or local. I will begin my search for the best deal on one.

Gary.

Gary, scroll down to the bottom of the page below the post box. You'll see the last green bar at the bottom, click on User List and look for her profile. I believe her name is Jamie??
