I noticed there are a few grease fitting on my Disco. What type of fitting are used? What kind og grease should I use? Last but not least when should this be done??

I picked up a tube of Mobile 1 synthetic grease and a standard grease gun from my local auto parts store. Simple to do, just a lot of moving the truck a few inches forward or backward to get at those drive-shaft grease fittings.

Frequency - every oil change.

More often if you wheel it.

Fittings are 1/4" 28

you can use the M3,
but it's no thompson.

you will need a common zerk and a needle nose grease gun...with both you will be ready for just about all grease tasks

I use semi-synthetic marine trailer bearing grease(its bright blue in color)It is designed to stand up better in wet/submerged situations.it cost about 50% more but when a tube of grease is $6 who cares what it costs if its better.
