Fault code is for the fuel level sender. The processor uses this information to run some evaporative emissions tests on the car, and can network the info to the instrument cluster and fuel milage computers on the newer ones. Does the fuel gauge work? What year is the truck?

yes the fuel gauge works fine this light came on after travelling up a steep hill and sharp turns up the hill...I thought maybe the gas flying back and forth in the tank set it off and my rover is a 97 disco |
