Does anyone know what might cause a slow battery drain (typically overnight) on my brother's P38 RR? I did read in LROI something about this, but can't remember what it might be - like a closed relay with drains to ground some feed for door lock or something!

Anyone?

I do know that the battery will be ruined if you keep running it down. That may actually be the problem.

To narrow down the possibilities: Disconnect the neg battery cable, then connect your test meter to the neg bat term and the neg bat cable. You will see the current flowing back to the battery. Then pull one fuse at a time checking the meter to see how switching off that circuit effects the current flow.

Do you have an Oregon Scientific weather station, by any chance?
