I know the subject of if 03 Headlights work on a DII, but will DII headlights work on a D1? The D1 headlights cost more then the D2 headlights so I was just going to buy a set from a D2, I just wanted to see if they will work, and if there are any problems from doing this switch. Thanks

Will DII headlamps work on a D1? sure they will, I can see the neighbours D1 quite clearly in the dark from my DII as well as most other cars and tree's!!! Sorry, couldn't resist, its been a long day at work. No idea on the real answer. Remember most DII's have leveling headlamps with motors |

CJ- DII headlamps fit in a DI, they go in easy, they don't have a motor and there isn't any trimming. However the the `03 into a prior year DII does require some work. Have fun and know that you will save some money with the DII lamps they are cheaper to buy than the DI lamps, so now you can buy some DWEB stickers. |

DII headlamps work in DI. They are cheaper here too. There are no headlight leveling motors in NAS Disco's or any other cars here. I think it's a "Europe only" thing. It's for people who overload their |

Ah, yep, I'm a Europe Disco so that may explain it. Most of ours have leveling motors which is strange as most have SLS so they are always at the same level anyway, despite all the dive kit in the back |

See that blanking spot next to the mirror control, thats where the headlight leveling switch goes if the D1 is equipped with that. LRNA decided that was just one more thing to go wrong and said NO to that one... |
