In the process of installing the auto dim rear view mirror, I accidently created a spark by touching the hot lead from the front interior light fixture. Now, I have a none working radio and interior lights but all the fues are okay. Not only that, if I turn on the radio, the radio will light up for about a second and then nothing. Where is the problem and how do I fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had the same problem, but the root cause was unknown...and all the usual suspects appeared to be ok.

Check the fuse for the rear a/c under the dash (if you have it). I know this sounds strange, but my radio did exactly what yours was doing, and the dome lights didn't work, and if you switched the dome lights from door activated to "on" the clock would reset. There was also a problem with the ignition light...it would come on and stay on. All of it was related to a blown fuse for the rear a/c.

If it isn't that fuse, check all of the others...chances are it is a blown fuse. A $3 fuse tester will help speed the process.

Good luck!

Todd, Thanks for the info. I will go and check all the fues and hope to find the problem.
