I did some searching and came up empty. Has anyone successfully remedied this problem without taking the vehicle to the dealer? Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

Lots of WD40 in the lock. you can also prise off the Green oval on the back and lube the mechanism in through that. White grease works best Repeated lock, unlock of the door with the remote normally opens it in the end if its still shut Unfortunately very common |

Don't use WD-40 becuase it attracts dirt. Simply pry off the LR logo with a small screewdriver and spray white lithium grease on the mechanism, as well as from the side (where the door latches). Open and close the door a bunch of times until it works smoothly. The Lithium grease will work much better and last longer than WD-40. I regrease the latch at every oil change (about 3000 miles). |

Many thanks to all, you just saved me from removing the inner panel to investigate. It was stuck when I first bought it and the dealer fixed it. Time to get out the Kano Kroil. Thanks again. |
