I have a pair on my ARB, click on my name for a pic on my profile. My RRC sees alot of mud and water and the 1000's have been solid. I picked up a pair really cheap on ebay. They are not difficult to wire. |

What wire do I tap into to get always on power for my 1000's? I tapped into the headlight wire (Purple/white) and can only turn the lights on when my headlights are on. Where can I get a hold of a third switch for my lights? I have a blank next to my fog light/cruise control switch. |

Couple questions for the disco electrical/aux lighting experts? Can someone tell me how to get to the backside of the fog/cruise/aux switches? What needs to be removed? Atlantic British sells a single switch that I can put into my unused slot. Will the Hella wiring plug directly into it? Or will I have to do some cutting? Also, in reference to the AB site, I found two similar switches, each with a different part number and slightly different in price. What would be the difference between the two? They are both listed for a D1.

www.discoweb.org/lights Simply pop out the piece holding the switches and disconnect them. One of the switches that you are seeing is like a momentary switch and the other is an click-in/click-out type like your cruise control. As for wiring them, I was able to find used plugs with about 6-8 inches of wiring to use as pigtails. Check around in the for sale section for those parting out trucks. These pigtails allow for a great easy install. |

Kristopher Im no expert but do you still have your Air dam? I took mine off and just cut the factory fogs. I plan on using that to wire up some new lights when I get the time. |

Still have air dam, no plans to cut it just yet. I think i've figured out what I plan to do. I just ordered an extra aux. switch from AB and will wire the three existing Hella wiring into that. I just need to match up the pin out. |
