Hi,i�m nacho from Andorra,i would like to get new tyres, 235-85 /16 and i have some questions... 1.- do i need a lift to avoid rubbing ??? 2.- what about an HD ome Lift ?? 3.- Better to upgrate the diff.gearing to 4.1?? 4.- do i need to change CV Joints ?? 5.- If i need the lift , do I need to change anything else ?? |

Search, search, search... questions have been answered over and over again. 1. If you plan to offroad, yes. 2. HD OME lift would do it, with a little trimming or moving in the rear. 3. To recover proper gear ratio and RPMs 4.11 works 4. CVs & rear axels should be alright with that size, but it is a very wise thing to upgrade if you have the money and it cannot hurt you. 5. You should not need anything else with that lift. Always nice to do shocks at the same time, (see the boys over at EE www.expeditionexchange.com) There is the chance you could experience drive-line vibration... but Im done. Do a search. |
