I have had a couple off RRC and they all seem hot under the hood, but this one is worse it seems. Has anybody done anything to reduce engine bay temps, wrapped manifolds or vented the hood or ?????

It seems impossible for the air to be cold getting into the motor.

a small impact is to remove the sound insulation from the hood. the hood becomes a better heat sink and reduces the underhood temperature. again, its not a large gain, yet, a gain.

You can drill holes on the side of the hood, install vents on the hoods (side or top), vents in the cowling. Whatever it takes to evacuate the air outta there! Do a search on the web, spcially in OZ. They do some creative things to address the heat issue. Look at the bright side, at least your '95 doesn't cook the driver like in my '91!

I have vents in my hood. It does evacuate faster, but I have found that nothing stops the heat from coming into the cab except a tight body (weather stripping and trim etc) and the proper heat shields underneath. Even then, it still gets hot. I have tried a heater core shut off valve, venting the hood, everything to no avail. :-( check my profile pic for pic of the hood vents - if you want a part number, and how to, no problem
