The two rear windows in my '96 Disco are extremely temperamental. The majority of the time the will not roll down, however on that occasional afternoon they might decide to go down. Does anyone know what causes this and how I can correct this problem?

Most likely it is a bad solder connection on the power window ECU board located behind the glove box. I had the exact same problem on my 95'D1. I did the repair as outlined in the DiscoWeb Tech section. Scroll down for the "Rear Electic Window" item on the left side of the tech window. The actual repair of the ECU was simple enough, just re-solder the point on the circuit board. I had more trouble getting the ECU board out of its holder than anything. It's worth a try if you have an hour or so of time and can do a little soldering. Gregg

Thanks so much. I will have to give that a try.
