I am looking for a Cd Changer for my 99 Disco will a Disco2 unit work?

I believe that all Disco2 units are Alpine and the 97-99 D1s are Pioneer units. Not sure if there was any crossover from d1 to d2 in 1999 however. I found my changer for my 97 on e-bay after quite a while of looking. You can get them there between $150 and $250 normally. I found mine for $125.

I just did a search and it looks like all the D2's started with the Alpine unit. So they will not be compatible. You need to find the Pioneer unit.

What is the Pioneer Model Number for the Disco 1 CD Changer?
