This will be my first winter with my Disco 2 (in Boston) and I currently have the GY Wrangler HPs that came on the truck when I bought it. I have not been offroading yet and will not be going in the winter. Are these tires sufficient for snowy roads? I have heard they are pretty bad and by looking at the tread pattern I can see why it would probably suck for any offroading, but wnat to now if I can get through the winter with it. When I do replace the tires, are BFG AT 255/70-16 a good tire for street and offroad use? Thanks, Chris Kiely |

The HP's suck in general. I had them for about 10k miles, then went with blizzack snow tires in stock size. The snow tires were good for snow on the road but still sucked off road. I now have AT's and are great off-road, not sure about snow yet, i only had them 2 months. I would highly reccomend the AT's for all around use. |
