This was being covered in the wanted section. so anyone looking for steel wheels now has a lot more options.

This wheel is the spare. It is 16 x 4. i think the offset if about 3". This pic is on my '00 D2. plus on this pic the wheel is on backwards. I do not know about other camaro steel wheels yet. I am going to try and test fit another set of 16 x 8 steel wheels this weekend. Your more then welcome to come along.

Wait, isn't the bolt pattern for F-body's 4.5x5? or was it 4.25x5? Either way, that means that pretty much any f-body wheel would fit the Disco... Btw, the V6 and the police models use 16x7 steel wheels, I think. You could probably pick up a whole set @ a junk yard for the same price of an American Racing steel wheel... something to think about...

Rick, I researched this last year. The problem that others have encountered with the Camaro wheel is they tend to be too "soft" for our use. They bend rather easily off-road.

The pattern is 5x4.75, vs the Rover's of 5x120mm. Very close, and they do work. But, the Camaro wheels just aren't made to haul our heavy rigs around, especially off-road.

I wasnt planning on using a camaro wheel. Hell i amost broke it putting it on. I was testing the bolt pattern 5 x 4.75 vs the rover 5 x 120mm. 5 x 4.75 steel wheels are available from many off road wheel companies, that are much more durable then the camaro wheel.
A joke?
It would be extremely funny to drive around on the 135/60/16 tires on 16 x 4 wheels.

anyone running allied steel wheels?

Rick, just be careful of what backspacing you get. The stock backspacing on the US 16x8 wheel is 6.5". The Atlantic British steel wheels (16x7") have 5" backspacing. the same backspacing (5") on an eight inch wide wheel and it would stick out too far. Anything less with a 16x7" wheel and your tires will hang out of the fenders, and you'll probably have problems when off-roading with the tires rubbing the fender lips.

When I was searching for wheels, the 5x4.75" pattern was very common, but the proper backspacing became an issue.

Yeah i am aware of that, which is driving me crazy because i cannot find the backspacing i need. ARGH. I am getting very tempted to cut open my wheel wells. If my RTE sliders and SG bumper werent in the way, I probably would have already. Tirerack is sold out, and the allied steel wheel is 4.5" backspacing.
