I have a 98 disco and have noticed a clicking noise from the front left wheel. It goes away when I press on the brake. After pulling the wheel and inspecting the brake.. it appears that at one point in the rotation the outer breakpad jumps up and clicks on the attaching pin. Has anyone ever experianced this issue. |

im not too sure. my suggestion is to pick up a new set of pads and they will be in the box. my freind has the same problem in his disco. the mechanic changed his pads and did not install those springs and metal tabs. but we were lucky enough that i had a set from a recent break job done on a range rover. if your lucky or know some one with their old pads get them from them. good luck in your travels. |
