what should i do to the rovers defore taking them off the road for the winter. i mean should i be resting them on the axles and axle stands as apposed to just leaving them on their wheels.

I would elevate the axles up so that flat spots do form in your tyres. I would more concerned with your engine... if you plan on not running it all winter you should winterize it... or you can just go out and run it for 10-15 minutes a week. Just to get the oil in the cylnders and prevent engine rusting...same idea as a boat.
