'94 Disco, 80K miles, starting to annoy me to death with little things... Latest is the pin switch on the drivers door. I no longer get an interior light when I open up the door, or any warning chimes for the key or lights. The switch itself doesn't seem to be the culprit, but something downstream. Before I start tearing things apart, wondering if anybody else had a similar problem. |

Yes I have a 97 and I lost all of the same when I had my trailer harness worked on. That was about 2 years ago I just live with it. Sorry Im of no help. |

The wire connection to the pin switch has likely come apart. Remove the screw that holds the pin switch to the pillar, use needle nose pliers to pull the wire out (it's in there), resolder to back of switch, replace screw. |
