Just wondering: Has anyone ever just decided to skip all the Christmas prep and festivities - and gone on a trail holiday instead? Well, maybe a trail rides by day and hotels by night holiday? (it might be pretty cold out there!) If so, where did you go? How was it? Did it give more meaning to the holidays for you? Were you considered a heretic just by voicing the thought? Did your families flip out at your idea? Would you do it again? If you haven't done this, have you ever considered it? (I need validation please, looking for reassurance that I have not totally lost my mind - ha ha). Just very curious what Christmas would be like without all the commercialism? Might be neat to experience something different besides just another year on the calender - at least just once? Thanks in advance, Jamie |

Jamie, you need to see and drive in snow if yer goin' on a trail holiday. By late December there should be plenty up here -- I'll go on a ride with you if you can get up here! Muddy snow is FUN! Andy |

Some of us are going up to La Sal Christmas afternoon and playing around till after dark in the snow. Everybody out this way is welcome to join us. It's becoming a tradition. |
