I purchased a used d1 linkage for my D2 and need to know what to use to clean/lube the linkage before I make the switch. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

There is a great write up here: http://www.expeditionexchange.com/cdl/ After you get done take a minute to check out all the quality items on the site. Good stuff! |

I found that and it is very helpful, thank you. It doesn't tell me what kind of lubricant to use in the linkage. It's from an old D1 so I want to clean it and lube it so it doesnt stick. I've used simple green to clean it but I need to lube it-any suggestions? |

Tri Flow works GREAT for stuff like this. cable lub, gun lub, chain lub... Hardware store or gun store may have it. |

i would use a "dry lube" so it does not attract dust and such. you might try a good bicycle shop as well. mike |
