I've search the archives and cannot find any info on this. I am hearing a water bubbling noise when I start accelerating. Anyone heard of this before? Should I be concerned?

Thanks
Andrew

Andrew
I have a similar situation with a D1. Is it coming from your center console? I had posted a question a few days ago.

I've heard that sound in my DII. But it definitly sound like its in the dash. Up under the windshield. Dealer said its normal, and I can't remember hearing it in a while. Its either gone, or I just got used to it.

Check your coolant level. It is low or you have an air bubble.

I bet Brians right. I did change the coolant getting ready for winter, thats probably why I don't hear it anymore.

Switdh the lines to the heater core around. You'll have to take the bracket off to twist them. Seen the problem solved 3 times now with that fix.

I had a similar problem w/ my D2 (water sloshing around under dash upon braking and take off). Took it in for a service and they stated that I had a leaking radiator and replaced it w/ a new one. Therefore, I believe Brian is right. Check your level and look for leaks.

I've been having that sound now for a few weeks and I noticed on Saturday that my cold radiator tank level was low. I noticed the sound on the way to work this morning.

I'll call and schedule an appointment to check the radiator next week then.

Thanks guys, as I've been following this thread from a distance to see what suggestions were made.

Greg
