I just had the crankcase oil seal replaced and a set of 1/2" spring spacers put on the front. MY dad drove the car home, and now the "Anti-lock" light won't go off. Does it take a lot of pressure to reset the sensors? The problem came up after we had the work done. I think the dealership should fix it for free considering there was no problem until they worked on it.
I'm going to get seriously pissed if this cost me a lot of money for something they messed up.

Thanks, Matt

i have reseated the sensors by hand but a punch or screwdriver and a light touch with a small hammer can make it easier. Maybe when they installed the springs spacers, they pulled on the sensor leads and created "air gap too wide" codes. Why was the dealer installing 1/2" spacers?

well i'm not a Disco expert (although i'll play one on the web:-) ) but I don't see how those changes could of affected your brakes unless they bumped something putting the spacers on. Maybe they knocked a sender wire off?

The spacers were put on to compensate for the wieght of the new bumper and winch. I tried to push the spacers in, but that didn't turn the light off. I'm going to call the dealer in the morning.

Thanks, Matt

I meant to say that I pushed the sensors in not spacers. I'm driving myself crazy wondering how I can fix this, so I can't even type!
