I received my repaired adventure light back from ARB yesterday. Since I use it almost everyday, I had to buy another one while it was being fixed. I have used my light most often in the cargo area for nighttime "domestic duties". Kept it in the bag since I used it in other areas as well. I am crazy over this light because it draws less than 1 amp, stays cool, and provides abundant light. Now that I have two of them, I decided to try to affix one of them securely in the cargo area. I know this might look like another "silly" addition to my truck yesterday, but I found it very convenient while I was working last night. I attached it with locking tie thingys to the upper bar of my dog guard, using additional ties to secure the cord all the way to the DC plug outlet. I have additional plugs in my cargo area, so I can leave it plugged in all the time. I ran the cord attaching the switch part of it to the upper side area of the dog guard so that I can access it to turn light on - no matter how full my cargo area is. There are pics below. Don't laugh too hard. And before you ask, the pink duck tape on the light is to safely cover the hook that the light came with. I almost took it off, but decided to cover it and leave it - just in case I ever need to take the light down to use in another area (you know, like if (when?) I break my 2nd light). The spool of pink tape is to tie off designated warning or "keep out" areas for safety of my dogs and others (I tie it from my truck to trees or something). Again, I know that looks goofy there - but it works and I never have to search to find it since I tend to lose things in my truck. (I have neon green tape on the other side)
