That's likely because Land Rover North America still has their headquarters in Maryland. The vehicles are probably registered to them.

Talked to the guys today. They had finally made their way to San Francisco. Said they are part of the documentary film and planning team for Land Rover's new international event with teams competing Trophy-style across the U.S. in '03. Made it sound like it was not affiliated with TreK.

The 110 is not NAS specification and has no airbags.

Yes I know that, but there are lots of D-webers, and other ROVERITES who don't have a clue that this is where headquarters is(MD)- I saw these 3 oranges 4 months ago on the beltway headed North- Everyone called me CRAZY!

Shooting a documentary....that explains the permits that were in the front windshields when they were in Manhattan. very cool.
