Can anyone give me the procedure for removing the inside panel on the rear door of a 99D2? Seems as if the bolt holding the hinge at the bottom of the door has worked itself loose and I need to access inside the door to re-align the hinge. The dealer of couse wants my firstborn ,credit card and maybe they can get to it after the holidays.

Invest in a trim remover.

It will save you the headache of having to buy replacement trim tabs after you are done breaking each and every one after you are finished with the screwdriver.

After buying a trim remover, I haven't broken a trim tab since.

If you are really careful you can not break any. Somehow i didnt, the first time. The second time i took it off i only broke 2. I put the trim back on without them and its fine.

You can use a salad fork, it works very well if you lift it a bit with a flathead screwdriver in your other hand.

I carry one in my tool box. :-)
