Can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace the shocks on a D2? The rears look easy enough, and the upper bolt in the front looks easy, but what about the lower bolt on the front? It looks a little hidden in the spring seat. Whats the easiest way to do this? Thanks, Matt |

http://www.expeditionexchange.com/disco2frontcoils/ also check the tech section on discoweb... the lower bolts are pretty easy to get to, but you have to remove the upper shock mount so as to lift the shock up and out. it is not hard to do, but if you have never done it, it will take a little time. mike |

Its pretty easy. in the rear just unbolt the top and bottom. Inthe front, there are 2 bolts holding the shock to the spring seat and then to the mounting plate, and then one on top. It will make things easy to unbolt the shock tower. There are 4 bolts above the top spring seat holding it down. |

So is it necessary to get all of the weight off of the suspension? |
