i want to get more axle drop. how can i achive this. i have ome hd springs. so is it save to say that if i get a longer shock will i get more axle drop? that opens the door upon compression; will the longer shocks bottom out? ive seen these alloy shocks (fox)? what are they and are there extensive mods to get them to work. what about adding these spacers.
you guys know that it never stops with a rover!

Aftermarket trailing links that are modified with a bend in them help with travel and flex. My new rear links from RTE help greatly. Theres other preformance benifits with modified links and radius arms too. Longer shocks will definetly help. Articulation cones let the spring dislocate from the mount, which gives you a lot more travel. All these help give you more travel.
I think if you went to some websites (Rovertym, Expedition Exchange, and Safarigard) you could look at and read about different suspension mods that will help with suspension travel. Remember, there also other things you need to buy, like longer brake lines, and bump stops for example.

Look around and see what fits your needs.

Mickey, you'll also want to remove your sway bars. With OME springs, there is no difference in handling with the rear off. But you might want to get some quick disconnects for the front, because as I experienced, the removal of the front sway bar has a lot more effect on the handling of the truck.

Check the tech section of the EE website. Ho has a cheap-o shock extension you can do with parts from Home Depot to add 2 inches.

Hi
Take a look at http://www.scorpionracing.co.uk/
That will answer your questions, be careful though as springs make a horrible noise when they reseat and sound like your axle is about to fall off.
Pete
