Has anyone tried the ExtremeAire compressors? I've seen them on 4x4connection.com and Mesa4x4.com for around $350 to $370. Seems like a good price if it really runs continuously at 4 CFM. More to the point, can they really run air tools? Thanks, -David |

http://www.roverworx.com/ David, here is a vendor site with a bit more information and a Land Rover connection. The owner's name is Alan Ottley, I'm sure he'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. ~Art Vigil Denver, CO |

http://www.viaircorp.com/ check these ones out too. many different sizes specs inc 100% duty units. Small enough to fit where the jack goes unlike the extremeair....under $400 for a complete kit, inc all hoses etc etc |

It looks like the Viair compressors come pretty close to the ExtremeAire ratings. At 100 PSI: Viair model 450C - .94CFM and 18amps. ExtremeAire - 1.3 CFM and 35amps. Of course I could always go with an "Endless Air" engine driven compressor. 8CFM @ 150PSI sounds pretty good. |
