ALL Land Rovers had "Rover" diffs and "Salisbury" diffs.

IF your Range Rover has 1.11" 10 spline axles, then you can simply drop in the series 3rd member that should have a 4.7 R&P ratio.

IF you have 1.25" 24 spline axles, then you need to produce, from your original 3.54 and from the series 4.7, one 3rd member that has the 24 spline side gears and the desired ratio.

The Salisbury is a different ball-game, so I won't mention that at all so as not to confuse netierh you nor me.

Yeah, but 10 spline axles are NOT up to ANY serious Offroading, assuming you do so, since the 4.7s are ideal for 34+" tires...HIGHLY suggest at LEAST rear axle upgrade!
