Was wheeling yesterday, made it over some obstacles etc...then later when on smooth level terrain I heard a loud bang and pop. Now the car is only in 2 rear wheel drive and only works with the CDL engaged. Car wants to pull slightly to the right now and the steering wheel alighment is off. So it could be the front diff or a broken front axle. I have an extended warranty. Does anyone know if this would be covered? I don't want to get the runaround from the dealer and then have to pay for the non-dealer LR garage do the work. Thanks, Jamil |

Jamil, I don't know the specifics of your extended warranty, but I've had 2 rear differentials and 2 pairs or rear axles replaced under my factory warranty within the past 2K miles. If you have a good working relationship with your dealer, then you shouldn't have a problem. Best of luck. Steve |

Thanks steve. I checked with them and they told me they would have to send out an adjuster to check out the vehicle because of the mods. Did you have to go through this process?
