Well I found a 1987 Range Rover that seems to be mechanically good and the exterior is nice. The interior is really bad though. Headliner is gone and the front seats are cracked. I am also looking at a '93 LWB that is great all around. The question I have is which is the better choice? They both have about 100K miles. The '93 is $4900 and the '87 is around $3500. What should I look for and what should I pick? |

greg, 93 has much more to break on it like air suspension, ABS and possible VC on the transfer case wearing out. i like the 1987 model for that simplicity. but if the 1993 is tip top and you arent afraid of those few issues,. that LWB is nice stuff. it's a hard decision for me. id have to see the "best" prices on each and then add up what it will take to make the car what i want. set of 4 leather seatrs used go for 4-500 $ headliner is 200 for professional or 75 DIY.
