D2 key programming

Is there any way I can progrma it myself to unlock the doors. The dealer said that I need some serial number for them to program it and I dont have this. It looks like a key tag with a bar code printed on it. It took her 2 weeks to produce the title, and she didn't tell me the thing drank coolant like my mom drinks gin. Bitch.
