I know that scratches add charater and what not....But I still want to ask this question. I aquired some nice additions to my passenger side this weekend at SAE. All of them appear to have just scraped the clear coat off, none of them are down to the metal. Is there any suggestions besides getting a body shop to buff them out, or anything else that I need to take into consideration with or without the help of a shop? Can anyone share with me how they get scratches to not be as noticeable? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Hill |

"Megiuar's Scratch-Out" Referred to me. It really works. You can find it at Autozone. |

Ive found the the majority of high quality scratch removal products work to about the same degree. I mean, scratches will only buff out down to a certain level. Ususally, the difference is just how much elbow grease you are willing to apply, under proper conditions, with the proper applicator. Once you get some body damage, you'll think someone buffed your scratches out for you. |

I used GS 27 and it worked ok, but you were still able to make them out. My detailer somehow got my truck looking new though. Lots of wax after buffing them out might help cover them. |

Thanks for the all of the suggestions. I hope one of these covers up the scars a little at least. If anyone else has any suggestions, I am open to anything. Thanks, Hill |

I use Mothers 3-phase about 2/year and it brings back the deep luster, Rojoya Red, and no, we push through brush and skinny trails always. I have a few long scratches (primer shows), but other than that, Mothers does an awesome job. I have tried all kinds of special products, but Mothers products are pretty good. |

Right elbow, unless your left arm is stronger. Old washcloths or handtowels or diapers or T-Shirts. Ray |
