Hey Guys, I am about to embark on replacing the front brake pads and rotors on my '96 4.0 SE, and any direction you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Pads and rotors are from the dealer, and cost a pretty $403 total. I saw a previously posted article citing http://www.expeditionexchange.com/disco2brakes/indexmain.htm, which is EXTREMELY helpful, but does not cover the rotor replacement. I'd like to replace the brakes and rotors at once and preferably tomorrow, as I will be driving up to Mammoth Mountain on Tuesday. Any guidance you guys can offer would be a huge help. Thank you, Ian Ulery |
