My passenger seat in my 98 disco will do all the functions but go back. My seat is crammed almost in the dash because I had 8 people in there going to a football game yesterday. WAR EAGLE! Any suggestions |

carefully take the switch apart and clean all the contacts. but before you do that you might get away with spraying some contact cleaning in there. once you open it up there is a nest of small springs and balls. you don't want they getting loose on your floor. but the contacts over time get a bit dirty and fail to work. pretty common. |

Take it apart carefully - loose one of those springs & forget it. Use a pencil eraser & contact cleaner to clean all the contacts. TIP - Use dialelectic grease to hold the ball bearings & springs together when you are putting things back together. Let me know if you need a rebuild. I have done about 8 of them. jb |
