Hi, The saga continues.. I decided to try to reset my base idle to see if that would smooth out some of the idle problems. I tried to follow the following procedure 1) Turn ignition on - DO NOT START ENGINE 2) disconnect stepper motor 3) turn off ignition 4) wait for efi relay click 5) connect stepper motor 6) turn ignition on - DO NOT START ENGINE 7) disconnect stepper motor 8) start engine in neutral 9) set idle speed to 590-650 (or thereabouts) via idle screw in plenum housing This is where me engine revved at 2000 rpms and I couldn't get it to come down. New stepper motor, throttle butterfly valve set to 0.002 inch as per workshop manual Anyone have any ideas? |
