Now that the Dusy Ershim video has been out for a few days, has anyone had a chance to watch their copy yet? I am interested in hearing feedback.

Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!

- Axel

Awesome!

Nice mix of stuff, from carnage to some cool trail repair, to some gnarly rock action.

Always gotta love Ho: "It's CLIMBING"

thought it was cool. really seemed like the most professionally done in terms of quality and editing. liked the fact that you showed the trail repairs in the video. good balance between commentary and truck/ambient noise. favorite part, and i know you guys will probably hate me, but watching all of you crush your rear quarter panel on that rock. honestly, not vindictive, just funny as shit you all hit the exact same spot :-)

I agree with Robbie, the quality of this one is the best so far. You guys are definitely getting better with each one. My favorite is still Back East, but that has more to do with the terrain, than the quality of the content. I've never wheeled on the west coast so it's still pretty foreign to me, but don't get me wrong, I still like to see it. I also like to see that you show both the good and the bad.

Havent seen other videos yet, so i have nothing to compare with :-)

I like it, altough i would seriosly like to see GPS track of trail overlayed somewhere on that day to day basis.. But then its just me :-)
Another note is that may be, just may be - it would be nice to have technical commentary apart from regular narration, as sometime its been pretty questionable choice of how trucks were going - so i'd seriously like to learn - "why".

Other than that - it's pretty cool. I glad i got two sets (altough by accident) - can now give nice present to friend.

Axel - is there any chance to see footage from Farmington, NM, ever? I seen you guys travelled there - from photos. I am still struggling to find good trail maps to that place (its like 50 mins drive from me, even closer than Silverton area)... :-(

Sergei, there is Farmington footage on the Hole in the Rock video. There is a segment on Chokecherry Canyon following the Hole in the Rock footage. There wasn't enough footage for a separate video, so what there is, was added to HITR.

As for why the trucks went where they went, they pretty much went where the trail was. If something looked questionable, the alternative off camera was usually worse. Good point though, I'll keep it in mind for future videos to try and get some footage of the alternative to a seemingly bad line choice.

That being said, when watching the video footage afterwards, there will always be instances when you see that maybe the truck should have been a little more to the right or to the left and so on. The camera always shows a different view than what the driver was seeing at the time, and as we know, 20 20 hindsight is always easy..... :-)

I am glad you liked the video, though!

Great work, Axel. So when is "Moab" being released? :-)

It never ends does it?

I figure Moab should be ready around March sometime, maybe.
