if i do get a Hi-Lift, where can i jack on a stock '96 disco? i mean do i have to buy jack points... i thought i understood this tool, but i was wrong... HELP! again sorry if this is already been posted... |

I do not believe that there are any points to safely use a high lift on a stock 96. In an emergency I have used the bumpers, not safe and there was some degree of damage. Same for the sills. |

You might be able to use your rear hitch reciever. I have never done this so I cant comment on its effectivness, but i think it would be alright |

the hitch will work, but the jack tends to lean into the spare tire. otherwise, you should have a heavey duty bumper to use this tool. in most cases the hi-lift is not the most practicle tool. the tried and true bottle jack does the job well and it's much safer than the big jack TJM bumpers have a convenient slot that Hi-lift type jacks can fit in. |
