A couple weeks ago my D1 blew a head gasket which required a valve job and new pistons. They put in a new thermostat and all new radiator hoses, new heads, and exhaust manifolds. I picked up the car in which it was running smoother then before. Less the a 500 miles later driving up the hill I live on, Bam, temp shoots up, oil light comes on and exhaust system full of oil. Checked oil and all soupy again looking like another blown head. The problem is when my rig broke down it was in a far away town about 200 miles away. I'm sure when I call the shop that worked on it they will say to bring it back it. Yes I can have it towed there but if they didn't fix it right in the first place I am leery of bringing it back to them and would rather take it local to somewhere I trust. What recourse if any do I have with the original shop and the best action to take? What do you suspect is the problem with my rig?

Let them look at it, and tell them they are fixing it for free. Ron |
