How do I re-enter the code in the radio - the owners manual I have seems to be giving the wrong information |

The code is a 5 digit code. Once the radio is turned on and it asks for the code, you enter the 5 digits, then it will work. If you miss enter the code, finish till you have entered 5 digits, it must have a 5 digit code. Then you can start reentering the correct code. You may have to double check the code with a dealer (free, just need the vin #) if it still does not work, there is a chance that the radio was replaced under warrenty, then you will need to remove the radio and provide the dealer with the serial number of the radio. |

Jeff No....as soon as you turn on the radio, just punch in the code. Did my 98Disco this weekend when I put in an optima. On an RRC if you put in the code incorrectly (3x) you have to leave the ignition on for like an hour, I think, and then try the code again. I don't know if it's the same procedure on a Disco though.
