Today my brother in law and I were out wheeling around. During a fairly nasty ditch crossing my bros truck died. He was on it pretty hard and all crossed up so something must have given out. When we put it into gear it just whines. We popped the rear propshaft off and you can hold rear output and change the pitch. Any chance this could be the VC? I am thinking a shaft broke somewhere. By the way when you jack it up you can spin all the driveshafts and everything seems connected as the front shaft turns with the rear. It will not move though. When you shift it back from drive to park, it grinds bad like the is trying. Any help/ideas are appreciated. thanks Gordo |
