does anyone have any suggestions for how to stop/prevent the A/C from leaking into the passenger side foot well? It starts as a small leak from under the plastic cover over the center console (under the gear stick)..? |

If you mean water from the condensation of the A/C unit, then try cleaning the drain tubes, one on each side of the Transmission (under the Disco) they look like small plastic nipples, you can pull them off to clean them. (wear goggles and don't open your mouth while doing this.... |

Jon, do a search on the bulletin board (see top right corner). Sounds like your drain tubes are clogged under the vehicle. I believe the bottom of the tubes are located on either side of the transmission. Crawl under your vehicle, locate the tubes and either squeeze them or insert a coat hanger to remove any debris. By the way, your face is going to get wet. Just be prepared. Some where in the archives are exact instructions with pictures, you might even check the technical section for instructions. I had to do it (just as about everyone else has) a few months ago. |
