What's the best way to make sure when adjusting all the belts on a multi system that you get correct tension? Also, is there a certain order one should adjust them all in?

according to the manual you are supposed to apply pressure to the belt and it should not bow in further than the spec, which is .25-.5 inch i think. i cant remember the ammount of weight but i estimaded that "pushing really hard" would be good enough.

that is, "pushing really hard" should not result in a "whole lot" of belt deflection.

very scientific!
