Replaced my starter this evening with a rebuild. As I reconnect the battery cables to the battery, the starter is turning over - without the keys in the ignition. Is the rebuilt starter the issue or is something else wrong? 97 Disco |

Is the +ve cable to the starter live, even without the key turned? If it is, then your relay must be fucked and staying on. |

check your connections from the battery to starter. Make sure you have all the wires where they are supposed to go |
