2000 D2. The drivers side seat doesn't get hot. When the button is pressed, the light is lit on the switch but seat doesn't get hot. check the fuses and they're all good. Passenger side works fine. Need some advice, woke up to 20 degree weather this morning and winter isn't even here yet!!!OUCH!! |

I would try listening under the seat when you push the seat button and hopefully you hear the relay click. If not I think you found the problem.

http://www.discoweb.org/seatheater/P2120126.jpg Find that plug and use a multimeter to see if the heater element is receiving power. If it is, then you most likely need to replace your heater elements. If it is not receiving power, then you may need to check fuses, switches and relays. |
