just want to know from the folks who have their air compressors under the hood of their D1's... Do you have to worry about getting them wet... or splashing them with water? thanx |

I don't worry about it. Mine is in front of the air box. Have not had to worry about in SoCal as of yet. Been in for 1.5 years, ARB. |

Mines been under the bonnet at the rear on 2 discos for 4 years, no water probs. I use a bottle cap on the air outlet. Bazzle |

I have my compressor for my sls under the DS door. I routinely go through 3+ ft of water, sometimes getting stuck with it just sitting under water but the compressor still works great. as long as the electronics are sealed well and fitting have good o'rings you should be fine. |
