I'm moving to Carlsbad, Ca next week (Northern San Diego - Coastal). Does anyone know of any repair/service shops nearby that they would recommend for my Disco? Thanks Chris |

Try the Rover Group off Miramar. I think it's http://www.therovergroup.com Or check out http://www.lrcsd.com/Links/links.html |

Chris, IF you can drive to Temecula, Sterling Jaguar (9098947676) specialize in Jags and Rovers british cars only. I had been to Pioneer and this Rovergroup for my Disco and I'm not happy with them. The owner of the Sterling Jagar (Chris) was also a mechanic and owns both of the cars. Excellent customer service and expertise. I would not recommend the rovergroup if you prefer a San Diego shop just go to the dealer instead but you're only 35 minutes from Temecula. Jorge |

Second for the Rover Group. I do 99% of the work on the disco myself, but for that 1%, it goes to the Rover Group. Cant think of the guys name, but its him and his wife and an ex-local Land Rover dealer (Pioneer Centers) 'master mechanic'. Anyhow, the mechanic has a D1 with a 4.6 he put in it, the owner guy has a nice Disco also. Anyway, they are rover-people and I recommend them. |
