My 96 D1 rear defroster is working intermittently and I can't figure out why. Switch is good (have tried two, same results), fuse is good. I get power to the rear defroster intermittently, and the light in the switch doesn't always come on. Is there a relay or anything else I can check? TIA for any help. joe |

Might be a problem with a thingy called the multifunction unit. It's an integral part of the driversside fusebox. Could also be the earth connection behind the footwell on the driversside, behind the fascia panel. This is the earth for the RR def solenoid. Greetz, Joey |
