Transmission seems to be 'slipping' when I star from a dead stop in Drive. Seems to be fine in 1, 2, 0r 3 starting out then shifting into Drive. Also, once in a while, it will not engage reverse... like having it in neutral. When this happens, I run through all the gears and park and it usually engages. Sometimes I have to turn off the truck, wait and then it works. Sometimes this happens only after driving a while and sometimes right away!! I changed the filter and fluid last night... seemed to help, but still having the same old problems. I'm worried that the transmission is DOA? Any help or suggestions on this would be appriated... or a reasonably priced Transmission???? Thanks Jim |
