I noticed yesterday that the nut holding the sway bar to my front axle under my ACE actuator was missing. This explained my not so smoothe drive home in the snow. Surprisingly, this is one of the few nuts on my truck i never touched. I guess it was on a timer that once I hit 50,000 miles, it falls out. So i took one off my rear sway bar for now but it is a PITA to put on since there is nothing to grip to hold the bolt from turning. anyone have any tricks? or should i get a better grip with the vice grip? also where is a good place to get the nut? no hardware store around here has 12mm x 1.25 pitch. thanks -Rick |
